John Masterson
John Masterson , Managing Director has a Ph.D in Psychology from Trinity College,
Dublin and lectured in UCG and TCD before moving to RTE as a television producer.
While at RTE, he produced programmes across the schedule from Today Tonight to the Late Late Show and worked with a number of presenters including Gay Byrne, Ray D’Arcy, Shauna Lowry, Olivia O’ Leary, Brian Farrell, Mary Kennedy and Marty Whelan.
John is also a columnist with the Sunday Independent and an independent TV producer. In 2006 he was the Executive Producer of Electric Picnic, with Lucy Kennedy and Tom Dunne; ‘Ireland’s Finest’ - Celebrating 25 Years of the National Concert Hall and Tubridy Tonight. He has also produced an Arts Lives documentary “Noirin Ni Riain – Voice at the Edge”, which aired on RTE 1 and is the author of two books.
He is an experienced and highly prized media communications trainer having worked with both public sector bodies and charities.

John Purcell
John Purcell holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics and History from University College Dublin and a Masters Degree in Communications from Dublin City University. After a period with leading Dublin public relations firm, Gilmore Communications, he joined Radio Kilkenny as General Manager in 1993.
While at Radio Kilkenny he was actively involved in radio industry initiatives and served as a founding Director of Independent Network News (INN) and as Chairman of AIRS, the Association of Independent Radio Stations.
John is a shareholder , director and Chief Executive of CK Broadcasting the company which operates KCLR 96FM, the radio service for Kilkenny and Carlow.
He is a director of the national independent news station NewsTalk106 and was Chairman and Executive Chairman of that company from 1999 until 2006. John was a founding Director of Beat 102 103 and a member of its board until the company was sold to Thomas Crosbie Holdings in 2007.
John is a Director of both the Kilkenny and Carlow Chambers of Commerce and is a former Chairman of Kilkenny Arts Festival

Mary Tallent
Mary Tallent graduated from DIT with a first-class Masters in Public Relations and also holds a first-class honours Degree in Social Science and a Masters in Sociology from UCD.
She joined Purcell Masterson in March 2004, having previously worked with WHPR and Kennedy PR in Dublin and Progress Communications in Kilkenny.
Purcell Masterson's media expert, Mary delivers results driven media strategy and tactics to clients across a range of sectors, including The Carers Association, Carlow LEADER Rural Development Company, Carlow EQUAL Employment Programme, Chesterbridge Developments Ltd., Daisy Discs Records and Dunnes Stores.
She is also chief publicist for celebrity chef Neven Maguire.

Naoimh Murphy
Naoimh holds an Honours degree in European Marketing from the University of Ulster and a Masters in Communications from Dublin Institute of Technology.
Having worked in Brand and Marketing management roles in the UK Healthcare sector, Naoimh returned to Ireland to work as a Marketing and Communications consultant with PR at the Helme, the communications arm of Grey Helme Advertising, where she was the lead on a number of high profile B2C campaigns, including the launch of PlayStation2 in Ireland and the national launch of the market leading Big Al's chilled food range for Kepak Meats. Naoimh joined Fleishman-Hillard International, Ireland's leading full service communications consultancy in 2001 as a Director for Corporate Communications.
Working for a number of blue chip corporates she was responsible for the Corporate and B2B communications for clients including O2 Ireland, Ernst & Young, The Body Shop and Aer Arann, Europe's fastest growing airline. In 2003 she was awarded a PRCA Award for Excellence in Communications for her work with O2.
She also developed the through the line marketing communications campaign for the national launch of the award winning Monart Destination Spa in Co. Wexford, a campaign which secured her a Failte Ireland sponsored HSMAI Award for Best Marketing of a New Product or Venue in 2006. Naoimh specialises in delivering strategic marketing & communications advice to corporate and B2B clients including the Irish Institute of Training & Development, t2 and Hooper Dolan Financial.
Orla Nolan
Orla holds an honours Masters in Marketing and an honours degree in Marketing from Waterford Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Purcell Masterson Associates in 2008, Orla worked with Bulmers in the Trade Marketing department working on Bulmers and Bulmers Light promotional activities. In The Gleeson Group Orla worked as soft-drinks and alcohol brand manager, where she managed a number of brands including the development and launching of a number of new alcohol products to the Irish market. Orla also has experience in the medical devices industry where she played an active role in new product development teams and managed the development of marketing collateral including medical case studies and sales guides for sales representatives.
